It’s been a while, but there’s a TechWings Wednesday this Wednesday (August 19th) at Hudsons Downtown (
11248 104 Avenue).
It’s sponsored by ENTS (so free wings!) and we’ll be giving tours of the new space, as it’s only a couple of blocks away.

Construction is basically done!

We’ve been working hard to get things done at the ENTS Space, and we’re almost done. Well lots of stuff is almost done!

Eric (@ericwarnke) and Rob (@robdavy) have been at the space for the last few nights working on sanding drywall and getting the conveyor out of the back space (with the help of Nathan (@LogicWolfe)…

We now have a big pile of scrap useful metal to re-use. They’ll be more coming from the rest of the conveyor too. Taking that out has really opened up that back space and made it seem a lot bigger. We should have the last of the drywalling in there done soon too.

The middle area is ready for priming and painting now. If anyone has any primer they can donate, please email directors (at) ents (dot) ca !

The plan/hope is to have the space completely usable by September, which is entirely possible we think. Keep an eye on Twitter (@ENTS) and the blog here for updates. We’ll of course be holding a grand opening once it’s ready.
